Ann Little graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1996 and has exhibited nationally and internationally with work in the collections of the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Art Gallery.

Working from her studio in central Scotland Ann creates one-off pieces of jewellery combining silver and enamel.  Using a few hand tools and an electric enamelling kiln, she uses enamel powder, dry, sprinkling on thin layers of colour, sometimes drawing into the powdered enamel or rubbing it back once fired to reveal layers of colour beneath.

In recent work Ann has begun to use vibrant solid colours and geometric shapes.  Earrings fold under the ear and necklaces are reversible with different colours on the opposite side, giving the wearer a choice of colours.
