Clare Kilgour works with a variety of precious and non-precious materials. Her current collection explores the aspect of interaction. Geometric ring and brooch designs have magnetic forms so the wearer can physically change the construction of the piece by interacting with individual components.

The combination of coloured resin and wood gives a gentle visual contrast and a tactile quality.
These qualities are reminiscent of picking up and collecting pebbles, driftwood and jetsam from the beach.

She also creates delicate coloured earrings and brooches with powder-coated silver and metals.

Clare is lives and works in Plymouth and tutors jewellery workshops at Plymouth College of Art.
