Emma Teale

Emma Teale makes elegant  jewellery in silver and 18ct gold from her studio in Bath. Her style is instantly recognisable, with a strong asymmetrical element.  She uses silver wire or silver sheet as her starting point and from there experiments with the rhythm of the material until arriving at a satisfying balance of forms.

Celebrating the freedom of mismatching elements, Emma makes subtle distinctions between each earring so no pair is an exact match.  Her signature shapes are flattened irregular ovals and circles with exposed joins, giving an unusual and delicate appearance of hand sketched outlines in silver.  All Emma’s necklaces and earrings are very wearable with elegant clasps incorporated within the designs.

Quercus Gallery holds a regularly changing stock of Emma’s pieces so please get in touch if you would like images of the latest pieces.
