ISABELLE STOPFORTH

Isabelle Stopforth is a highly experienced print maker having been a print technician for seven years and completing her Masters Degree in Degree in Multi-disciplinary printmaking in Bristol.

My practice continuously explores shapes and their basic forms, as a tool for building and creating new approaches and design possibilities. Through systems of play such as deconstruction and abstraction of shape I tend to focus on limited and direct materials such as collage and traditional printmaking techniques. Making in a rhythmic way is key to my process and in the unfolding of each unique piece of work.

I have been a print technician for seven year and feel this has always allowed me the space to play to the fullest and transfer my skills and methodologies that I developed during my Masters Degree in Multi-disciplinary printmaking in Bristol.
